Knöpfe .....

Hallo meine lieben Leser! Wie bereits berichtet, wartet mein schwarzes Wickelkleid noch auf die passenden Knöpfe. In dem Onlineshop Knopf-Truhe bin ich dann fündig geworden und habe diese goldenen Metallknöpfe bestellt:

Hello, my dear readers! As mentioned before, i needed buttons for my black wrap dress. I found some in the online shop Knopf-Truhe and bought these golden metall buttons:

Die Schleife hat mich irgendwie an Milly oder Juicy Couture erinnert ..... und ich habe direkt zugeschlagen. Und weil der Shop einen Mindestbestellwert hat, habe ich mich nach einigem Stöbern noch für diese Kinderknöpfe entschieden:

I really love the bow on it .... it somehow reminds me of Milly or Juicy Couture ..... thus, i directly ordered them. And because there is a minimum order value in this shop, after some browsing i've decided on these kids buttons:

Sind die nicht süß? Nun, zugegebener Maßen hatte ich bisher noch gar nicht im Sinn für unsere Kleine etwas zu nähen. Aber es gibt so süße Stoffe und Kurzwaren, da wird man einfach in Versuchung geführt. Naja, die Knöpfe sind eh etwas für später, wenn sie älter ist, da beim Ablösen sonst die Gefahr bestünde, dass sie sie in den Mund nimmt und verschlucken könnte. Aber bei all den schönen Sachen werde ich meine Einstellung zum Nähen von Kinderkleidung wohl doch noch einmal überdenken ;-)

Aren't they just the cutest buttons ever? Until now, i've never planned to sew for our little girl. But there are just so many beautiful fabrics, buttons and trims for kids that really tempt me. However, i can use these buttons only later. Because they could get off the clothes and she could put them into her mouth and choke. However, seeing all these beautiful things make me overthink my attitude towards kids sewing ;-)

Aber bis es soweit ist, geht es hier wie gewohnt weiter. Und nach meiner Kleiderparade (Kleid 1, Kleid 2, Kleid 3, Kleid 4 und Kleid 5) ist mein Bedarf an Kleidern für's Erste gedeckt. Es stehen also Oberteile und Röcke auf dem Plan (falls dazu noch Zeit ist *lach*). Dazu dann demnächst mehr ....

But until then, we will continue here with the usual. And after my dress parade (dress 1, dress 2, dress 3, dress 4 and dress 5) i don't need any more dresses. Thus, i plan to make some separates as tops and skirts (if there is time for that *lol*). But more on that later .....
