Flower Top

First of all, i want to thank you again for all the lovely comments on my Infinity Dress. That's really flattering .... So truly, thank you so much!

Was magst Du besonders bzw.

----------------------------------------------------

I alos managed to get some sewing done this weekend ... but right now i'm avoiding complicated projects and tend to no-brainers ..... so here is summer quickie no. 1: The Cowl Dress from Burdastyle member Ichigogirl!

Pattern Description:
Semi fitted to fitted dress or top with a cowl-neckline. A very easy project!

Pattern Sizing:
36.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, i think so.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
I only looked into the instructions once, that was to see how the neckline is done. The rest went together so easily.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Obviously, i liked the neckline.

Fabric Used:
1m knit with a flower print.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't made any design changes. But since my fabric was see-through, i've doubled the front piece and linned it with these linnings that are often used for lingerie or swimsuits (charmeuse?).

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes.

Conclusion:
It is a great basic pattern. Super easy to sew, great fit and nice look.
However, i'm not sure if it is the best pattern for my fabric .... i think, it looks a little old-fashioned ... ummhhh, but maybe i'm wrong ....

I think fabric and pattern are a good match. Florals are always in style. It looks like your lining might be tricot?

I think it's a lovely top and the fabric is very cute for it.
