Hmmhhh ... war das ein schönes Wochenende voller Sonnenschein! Den Großteil der Zeit habe ich am Wochende auf allen Vieren im Garten mit Unkraut jäten und sonstiger Gartenarbeit verbracht. Aber bei all der Blütenpracht draussen, konnte ich mein neue Kleid natürlich nicht vernachlässigen!
*Sigh* what a beautiful weekend with perfect weather and a lot of sunshine we had! Most of the time, i've spent on my knees digging in the garden, killing weeds and doing some other gardening work. But despite of all the flowerage outside i was also working on my flower dress!

Nachdem der Stoff inklusive Futter zugeschnitten war, waren die einzelnen Schnitteile auch recht flott zusammengesetzt .... So, sieht das Kleid also momentan aus:

Ganz vielversprechend, wie ich finde! Allerdings ist noch einiges zu tun: Da mein Stoff leicht transparent ist und ich nicht wollte, dass man die Taschen durscheinen sieht, musste ich ein wenig improvisieren. Meine Taschen liegen jetzt nicht mehr zwischen Oberstoff und Futter, sondern unter Oberstoff und Futter. Das hatte leider zur Konsequenz, dass ich nun das Futter des Oberteils per Hand an den Rock annähen muss. Nichtdestotrotz bin ich froh, mich dazu durchgerungen zu haben, da es so viel besser aussehen wird.

But there is still a lot to do: Since my fabric is see-through (or semi see-through), i didn't want that the pockets are visible as they would have been as if i have followed the BWOF-instructions (pockets lying between fashion fabric and linning). Now, my pockets are lying under the fashion fabric and the linning. Poorly, my changes had the consequence that i have to handstitch the linning of the bodice to the skirt. Nonetheless, i'm happy that i've made it this way, because it will look better and more elaborate.

- Futter und Oberstoff an den Schulternähte per Hand zusammennähen / handstitch the linning to the fashion fabric at the shoulder seams
- Futter von Oberteil und Rock per Hand zusammennähen / handstitch the linning of the bodice to the linning of the skirt
- Rocksaum des Futters mit der Nähmaschine säumen / sew the seam of the skirt linning with the sewing machine
- Die geschätzten 100m Saum des Rockes per Hand säumen / handstitch the estimated 100m seam of the skirt
