Bookreview: Zopfmuster von Carla Scott

Obwohl ich am Wochenende endlich mal wieder zum Nähen gekommen bin, gibt es hier wieder kein fertiges Projekt zu sehen. Statdessen mal wieder ein Blick ins Bücherregal. Denn da gab es Zuwachs:

Jede Seite enthält etwa 2 Muster,
die bebildert und in Strickschrift erklärt sind.
Mustertechnisch ist von "einfachen" Zöpfen
bis aufwendigen Mustern alles dabei.

Every page contains about two cable patterns,
which are shown on pictures and are explained.
They range from "simple" cable patterns
up to very complicated cable patterns.

Fazit: Ein schönes und gut bebildertes Buch - das allerdings voraussetzt, dass man zumindest rechte und linke Maschen stricken kann. Für Strickanfänger würde ich es nicht empfehlen.
Für mich persönlich war es allerdings eine lohnende Investition, da das Buch viele Anregungen liefert und die einzelnen Muster schön erklärt.

Conclusion: A nice and well pictured book - but i wouldn't recommend it for beginners. They expect the reader to know how to plain stitch and how to purl. But for me it was a good investment, because the book is full of inspirations and is a good explanation of different sorts of cable patterns.
