Time to Shop for Spring

Draussen liegt zwar noch Schnee, aber in meinem Herzen habe ich den Frühling eingeläutet! Und wie macht man das am Besten? Richtig, mit dem Kauf von ein paar farbenfrohen Stoffen :-)

I know ... there is still snow outside, but i'm already thinking about spring. And how do you get spring fever? Right, buy some beautiful and bright fabrics :-)



Diesen lachsfarbenen Viskose-Jersey habe ich bei Stoffe-Tippel erstanden. Ich habe 2.5m gekauft, um einen Cosy daraus zu nähen. Dieses Mal werde ich Simplicity 2603 ausprobieren.

I bought this salmon-coloured Rayon jersey at Stoffe-Tippel. I bought 2.5m to sew another cosy. This time i will try Simplicity 2603.



Und diesen Traum von Stoff habe ich ebenfalls bei Stoffe-Tippel gekauft. Oh ja, die Farben sind sehr kräftig - nichts also um sich zu verstecken. Aber ich habe mich direkt in den Stoff verliebt. Das Muster ist zwar sehr groß .... und ich habe mal gehört, dass kleine Personen keine großen Muster tragen sollen, um nicht noch kleiner zu wirken, aber egal! Bei dem Stoff konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen.

And i bought this wonderful fabric at Stoffe-Tippel, too. I know, it's bright - nothing to hide in. But i instantly fell in love with this fabric. The print is quite big ... and i heard somewhere, somewhen that small people like me should avoid big prints, because they make you look even smaller, but who cares! I just love this fabric!



Und dann habe ich bei Ikea noch je 1,5m Seide Brattby erstanden für je 5€/m - einmal in knallrot und einmal in leuchtend blau.

And i bought some silk at Ikea, 1.5m in bright red and royalblue for 5€/m.

Aus dem roten Stoff möchte ich einen Rock nach BWOF 06-2009-125 nähen. Ich finde, der Rock wäre die perfekte Kombi zu diesem tollen Shirt von Blugirl. Was ich aus dem blauen Stoff mache, weiß ich noch nicht.

I plan to sew a skirt using BWOF 06-2009-125 from the red silk. And the perfect combination for this skirt would be the awesome shirt from Blugirl from the picture above. For the blue silk, i don't have any plans yet.
