Today i've started to work on my Pucci-dress. The fabric is cut and i've already sewed a few seams. I have to confess that this is the most expensive fabric i've worked with in my sewing career. The first cut into the fabric wasn't easy. But i'm happy how the dress looks yet. Now i need to make a break because i didn't manage to buy a zipper. I hope next week i can show you first results.
Rein stricktechnisch geht es hiermit weiter / This is what happens on my knitting front:
"Qui" von Lana Grossa
90% Schurwolle, 10% Polyamid
140m / 50g
Nadelstärke 5
90% Schurwolle, 10% Polyamid

I know that it's summer time or at least a rainy version of that ... but i've bought the yarn before summer started ... and every now and then i should finish something ;-) I will knit a cardigan like that but in a single color.

The most expensive fabric I ever worked with was just recently. It was Missoni sweater knit. I just knew it would bleed if I cut it. I even kept the scraps that were left over because it was too expensive to just throw away:)
I still haven't cut into my most expensive fabric to date, purchased over a year ago now. I need to follow your lead!
Yes, i've saved every tiny scrap. I think i will sew a scarf from the leftovers ... or a hair-band!
