Pink Passion

The sun is shining and i really need new clothes for summer. So here are my next sewing projects: A top using BWOF 11-2007-109 and a skirt using BWOF 02-2208-118.

I loved the dress from the BWOF 11-2007 at first sight, but never had the time to sew it. I especially like the draping. So now i'm going to make it as a top. It's because i want my closet to be more versatile and i can wear the top with white pants as well as with the skirt....

And this is the fabric i have choosen. I've bought it at the Hugo Boss factory outlet in Metzingen. It's a light pink, lightweight fabric with a silky shine on it.

Great idea to make that as a top! I remember loving that dress when it came out.

I love the dress too, though it's for petite sizes; I think Paco made it as a top some time ago, with modifications; I remember loving his version (red/white polka dot, I think)
