Soderle, und schon geht es los mit dem ersten Projekt im neuen Jahr. Und werden soll es Modell No. 72 aus der Patrones 261 (Oktober 2007). Da mein Kleiderschrank momentan alle Nuancen von Grau aufweist und somit ziemlich trist ist, habe ich mich für eine etwas knalligere Farbe entschieden. Und zwar für den curry-farbenen Wollstoff in der Bildmitte unten. Ich weiß jetzt schon, dass mein Holder sagen wird, die Farbe sieht aus, wie schon einmal gegessen :-) Ich find's dennoch gut.....
I'm back in my sewing groove and can start my first project of the new year: No. 72 from the Patrones issue 261 (october 2007). Momentariliy, i have clothes in my closet in all shades of gray. So my warderobe needs some spice. Therefore i've choosen a woven wool fabric in curry. I know already that my DH will say that the color of the fabric looks like something that has been eaten before :-) But i like it though.....
Ich werde die Jacke jedoch kürzer machen. Da ich eher klein bin und nicht gerade mit Gazellen-artigen Beinen gesegnet bin, ist das für meine Proportionen vorteilhafter. Dann kann es also mit dem Kopieren und Zuschneiden los gehen....
I will definitely shorten the jacket. I'm short in size and i'm not blessed with supermodel-like legs, such that a shorter jacket will suit my proportions better. So, now i can start to trace the pattern and cut the fabric.....
