Erinnert ihr euch noch an mein Weihnachtskleid? Das Kleid habe ich damals aus einem wunderschönen Strenesse-Wollstoff genäht .... und von dem Stoff hatte ich dann noch einen Rest von ca 60-70 cm. Nichts, womit man also wirklich etwas anfangen könnte. Aber da der Stoff so schön war, konnte ich es auch nicht über's Herz bringen, ihn wegzuwerfen. Also lag der Stoffrest hier seitdem herum ..... 

Jetzt hat der Stoffrest aber dennoch einen Verwendungszweck gefunden. Denn ich habe mir daraus einen Schwangerschaftsrock genäht. Das war ganz simpel. Ich habe einfach nur ein Rechteck Stoff genommen, die Seitennaht geschlossen, am Bund habe ich zwei Tunnelzüge für ein Gummiband genäht und den Rock dann mit der Maschine gesäumt.  Für den Tunnelzug habe ich mich entschieden (statt das Gummi anzunähen), da ich den Rock so meinem wachsenden Bauch anpassen kann.

So, sieht der Rock getragen aus. Auf Grund der warmen Temperaturen allerdings noch sommerlich gestylt statt mit schwarzen Strumpfhosen udn Stiefeln....

Fazit: Einfach und simpel, aber eine gute Ergänzung zu meiner Umstandsgarderobe. Insbesondere durch das Anpassen des Gummibandes kann ich den Rock so lange während der Schwangerschaft tragen und sogar danach auf "Normalmaße" anpassen. Und da er so schlicht und vielseitig ist, kann ich ihn gut kombinieren und werde ihn bestimmt oft tragen.

Do you remember my Christmas dress?  I've made this dress from a gorgeous Strenesse wool fabric .... after  finishing the dress i had a remnant of about 60-70cm. Not enough to  really work with. But the fabric was too nice to throw it away. So, i've  kept it since then .....

But now i made use of this remnant and made me a maternity skirt. That was quite simple. Just cut it into a rectangle, closed the side seam, made two chasings for the elastics at the waist and hemmed the skirt with the sewing machine. I've decided to made chasings for the elastics (instead of sewing on the elastics) in order to make the skirt adjustable for my growing and someday also disappearing belly.

That's how the skirt looks worn. But due to the warm temperatures outside, with a summer styling instead of black tights and boots .....

Conclusion: Easy and simple, but a good addition to my pregnancy wardrobe. Especially because i can adjust the skirt due to the chasings for the elastics - for my growing belly as well as back to my "normal" size. And due to its simplicity and versatility i will probably wear it a lot.
