White T

Right now, i'm so sick of the cold weather. And although, the temperatures went below 0°C again, i started something new ..... something more summery.

I had this picture in my inspiration folder for a few years. If i remember right, it shows a swimsuit by La Perla. And the picture is from a German fashion magazin (Glamour? Jolie? Joy?). But i'm really not sure. As i said before, the picture is 2-3 years old ...... And now, i finally found this nice lace appliques at wien2002.

I really can recommend this shop, especially for those amongst you who sew lingerie. They got really nice laces and other trims for a good price. The shipping was fast and without any problems and was only 4,90€ - which is less then some German shops charge.

Kommen wir also zu meinem Shirt:
So let's take a look at my top:

Zunächst habe ich die Spitzeneinsätze appliziert ......
First, i've sewed on the lace applique .....

... and afterwards, i've cut away the fabric inside .....

.... and this is the back piece of my top.

And this is how the finished top looks like.

I really like this top very much. Pictures of me wearing it will be posted later. Because in a few weeks we are going on holidays and then this top is going to see the big, wide world :-)

Love the lace! Can you doublecheck that link to the shop you bought it from, though, because it's coming up 404. And I'm always on the lookout for more lingerie sewing suppliers!

I can't wait to see this on you...

Hi Melissa!

You're right, there was an error in the URL. Here is the right URL for the shop:

Beautiful! I love that cutaway technique. I am inspired! (And also so over 0 degree weather--we are lucky if we get over 0 C/32F in a day).

How original and beautiful!
I have ordered from that Austrian shop a few times and been very happy with prices and service. I'll have to check on this lace.
