Presseschau: BWOF 02-2010

So, mal wieder ist ein weiterer Monat herum und die neue Burda ist da. Wollen wir doch mal schauen, was sie dieses Mal zu bieten hat:
Los geht's mit den üblichen Basteltipps .... die Ideen für die T-Shirts sind ganz nett ... aber die anderen Tipps sind wie üblich eher grenzwertig.

Another month is gone and the new BWOF arrived. Let's see what we've got:
It starts as usual with the crafting section .... i like the ideas how to pimp your tops ..... but the other tipps are kind of disputable.

Ab ins Wochenende

Diese Fotostrecke widmet sich der Mode in schwarz-weiß. Und ich muss gestehen, dass ich es oft gerne klassisch und schlicht mag.
Aus dieser Fotostrecke sind die Kastenjacke im Chanel-Stil (Modell 108) und das Ringelshirt mit Raglanärmeln (Modell 112A) meine Favoriten.

This spread is all about fashion in black and white. And i have to admit that i like it. It's classy and simple but elegant.
My favorites are the jacket á la Chanel (No. 108) and the striped Top with the raglan sleeves (No. 112A).





Country-Star

Weiter geht's mit Mode im Bruce-Wayne-Stil. Die komplette Serie ist zum in die Tonne kloppen oder für den Einsatz auf die 5.Jahreszeit zu beschränken. Absolutes Horror-Outfit ist jedoch dieses hier: Weste 123 mit passenden Domina-Accessoires ....

Next topic is fashion inspired by Bruce Wayne. IMO this whole Cowboy fashion thing i only wearable at carneval. But the worst outfit is this: Vest 123 with the matching Bondage accessoires .....


Strahlend in den Job

Okay, hüllen wir über die Cowboy-Mode den Mantel des Vergessens und widmen uns dem nächsten Thema zu ... Business-Mode in grau und gelb. Ich mag weder die Farbkombi noch die Schnitte, also .... weiter!

Alright, let's forget about the Cowgirl-fauxpas and have a look at the next topic ... business wear in gray and yellow. I don't like neither the color combination nor the patterns, so let's skip to the next!

Let's Rock

Hmmhhh .... Mode im Stile der 50er hört sich ja schon einmal vielversprechend an. Naja, vom Hocker haut es mich nicht. Aber das Kleid mit dem tiefen Rückendekolleté (Modell 125) und das Ringelshirt (122B) sind ganz nett, insbesondere auch in der Stoffwahl:

Ummmhhh .... fashion from the 50ies. Sounds great. But to be true, i'm not overwhelmed. But i like the dress with the deep neckline at the back (No. 125) and the striped top again (No. 122B). I like the fabric choices as well:




So, weiter geht es mit diversen Basteltipps, wobei ich diese mal ausnahmsweise ganz gut finde. Mir gefallen die Papierblumen auf S. 64-65. Und vielleicht werde ich sogar mal die Schere schwingen und nachbasteln (ich habe nämlich nicht gerade einen grünen Daumen und ich beherberge hier einen kleinen Orchideenfriedhof).

It goes on with some crafting tipps. But this time i really like them. I like the paper flowers on page 64-65. And maybe i will try them (i'm not very talented in gardening and shelter a cemetery for orchids).

Starstyle

Um ehrlich zu sein, finde ich den Stil von Chloe Sevigny .... nun, sagen wir .... gewöhnungsbedüftig. Aber der Downloadschnitt gefällt mir dennoch. Das Kleid ist schlicht. Die Empirelinie und die Kellerfalten geben dem ansonsten schlichten Kleid aber dennoch einen gewissen Pfiff.

To be honest, i don't like the style of Chloe Sevigny .... But i like the download pattern. It's a dress with an empire line and inverted pleats. These details give this simple dress a certain twist.

Aus 1 mach 4 ...

... widmet sich dieses Mal dem Blazer. Und oh Gott, oh Gott, präsentiert uns dieses Monster ;-)

.... is about blazer. And oh my god, shows us this monster ;-)


Fazit:
Hmhhh, ich bin zwiegespalten ..... ein paar wenige Schnitte gefallen mir, aber ansonsten war es mal wieder eine Ausgabe, die mich nicht wirklich begeistert. Ein unentschieden mit Tendenz ins Positive also .......

Conclusion:
Ummhhh, i'm ambivalent about this issue ... there were a few patterns i liked, but i'm not enthusiastic about it. An undecided with an upward tendency.....
