Hach ja .... beim letzten großen Sale von Voguepatterns, Butterick und McCalls konnte ich einfach nicht wiederstehen. Hier ist also meine Ausbeute (jeweils von links nach rechts):
Sigh ... during the last big sale at Vogue, Butterick and McCalls i couldn't resist. So here are my new acquisitions (from the left to the right):
Naja, zugegebener Maßen ist dieser Schnitt wohl eher für ein Sommerkleid geeignet. Aber ich mochte das Design auf den ersten Blick als das Schnittmuster veröffentlicht wurde. Dieses Mal hat der Schnitt es einfach in meinen Einkaufswagen geschafft.

Das hier ist ein weiterer Designerschnitt. Dieses Mal von Tracy Reese. Ich finde, dass es ebenfalls ein schönes Sommerkleid ist. Aber vielleicht werde ich einen Probelauf starten und das Oberteil probeweise mal als Oberteil nähen.
It's a nice dress by Tracy Reese. Love it as a summer dress as well. But maybe i will do a test run and try to turn the bodice into a top ......
Oh, dieser Schnitt hat es mir von Anfang an angetan. Den musste ich einfach haben. Die Drapierungen vorne in Kombination mit dem weit schwingenden Rock sind einfach toll. Und dass das Kleid lange Ärmel hat, machen es Herbst- bzw. Winter-tauglich.
Love, love, love this dress. This was a must-have for me. Love all the draping on the front, the full skirt and that is fitted in the bodice and that it has long sleeves. The last makes it great for a fall/winter dress.
Und dieser Schnitt war der eigentliche Grund, warum ich überhaupt eine Bestellung aufgegeben habe. Ich finde einfach alles an diesem Schnitt toll. Und habt ihr die unglaubliche Version des Schnittes von Melissa gesehen?! Wie konnte ich da widerstehen?
This pattern is the real reason why i placed an order at all. Can not tell you how much i adore this pattern. And have you seen Melissas awesome version of this pattern?! So, how am i supposed to resist?!
Da ich für den Winter dringend ein paar Oberteile brauche, sind dann diese Schnitte auch noch in meinen Einkaufskorb gewandert. Von diesem Schnitt plane ich View D zu nähen (die Version unten links).

Ich mag die Version aus dem gestreiften Stoff ganz links. Ach ... und für 2.99$ bei sehr günstigem Wechselkurs habe ich nicht lange gezögert .....
Love the striped version of this top. And hey ... it was only 2.99$ and the exchange rate was good ......
Und ein letztes Kleid musste nocht mit. Bei diesem Kleid mochte ich die Front-Drapierungen .... und wie gesagt, der Preis war gut ......
And this is a last dress to make the packacge full. I liked the front draping .... and as i mentioned, it was a really good price .....
Und hier noch eine Anmerkung zu den Versandkosten: Ich kann ja verstehen, dass die Firmen auch für Verpackungsmaterial und Arbeitszeit etwas berechnen müssen. Aber dies sollte sich doch gefälligst im Rahmen halten. Mir wurden 25$ für Versand und Verarbeitung berechnet .... und wie man sehen kann, betrug das Porto schlappe 11.39$. Das macht nach Adam Riese eine Differenz von 13.61$ für Verpackung und Bearbeitung. Hmmmhh ... also die Schnittmuster waren in einem schlichten, ungepolsterten Briefumschlag verpackt. Also entweder die Leute bei Vogue bezahlen ihr Personal unglaublich gut (dann wiederum, wäre ich mit den hohen Bearbeitungskosten durschaus einverstanden) oder das ist einfach ein versteckter Posten, um doch noch ein bißchen Gewinn herauszuschlagen. Ich vermute Letzteres und fühle mich daher ein wenig betuppt .....
And here one more remark on the shipping costs: I really can understand that a company needs to charge something for packaging and handling. But it should be in a reasonable limit. I was charged 25$ for shipping ... and as you can see, it was only 11.39$. So there are 13.61$ left for packaging and handling. Ummmh .. the patterns cam ein a simple envelope. So either the people at vogue pay there employees well (in this case i'm okay with the handling costs) or the use it for hidden earnings. I suppose it's the last case and feel a little bit betrayed ....

Great choices, yes we get fleeced on international shipping costs - I try not to look at the actual postage when my patterns arrive and just tear into the envelope!
Oh ja, Vogue und die Versandkosten! Deshalb bestelle ich dort nicht mehr! Meistens übersteigen die Kosten sogar den Wert der Schnitte!
