Kaufrausch

Für die Beendigung meines UFOs habe ich mich erst einmal belohnt ... mit neuen Stoffen ;-) Zunächst einmal habe ich bei Ebay einige Stöffchen ersteigert. Nichts spektakuläres, aber ein genauer Blick auf die Fotos verrät die Herkunft der Stoffe ... und bei dem Preis konnte ich dann nicht widerstehen.

For finishing up my UFO i've rewarded myself ..... with some new fabrics ;-) First, i 've bought some fabrics on Ebay. Nothing spectacular, only some solids. But if you have a closer look at the pictures you can see their origins ... and regarding the price i couldn't resist.

2m Baumwollstoff in bordeaux für eine Bluse oder ein Kleid
2m of cotton in bordeaux/claret for a dress or blouse



3,5 m Baumwollstroff in anthrazit mit kleinen Karos für ein Hemdblusenkleid oder ähnliches.
3,5m cotton in dark gray/anthrazit with small plaids for a shirt dress or something like that.



2m petrol-farbener Futterstoff
2m linning in petrol.



3m blau-schwarzer Baumwollstoff für ein Kleid oder eine Bluse.
3m navy/nearly black cotton for a dress or a blouse.



3,4m Wolltuch in beige für eine Hose oder einen Rock.
3.4m wool gabardine in beige for pants or a skirt.

Und wer hier schon ein bißchen länger dabei ist, der kennt meine Schwäche für Schleifen. Ich finde nahezu jedes Kleidungsstück kann durch eine Schleife aufgewertet werden, ob Top oder Mantel. Und da ist natürlich klar, dass ich an diesem Stoff bei Ebay nicht vorbeigehen ... äh ... surfen konnte ......

If you following me for a little longer, you maybe know my preference for bows. I think you can decorate nearly every garment with a bow, is it a top or a coat. And therefore, of course, i couldn't get away without buying this wonderful and adorable fabric (again from Ebay) ......

2m Viskose mit rosa-farbenen Schleifen auf schwarzem Grund. Daraus soll definitiv ein Kleid werden. Ich freu mich jetzt schon, den Stoff zu verarbeiten .....

2m rayon with pink bows on black. I will definetly sew a dress from that fabric. I'm really looking forward to sew this up .....

Und zu guter Letzt, habe ich mir noch diesen Strickstoff bei Komolka gegönnt. Mir scheint, dass es bei diesem Muster nur die beiden Extreme gibt, entweder man mag das Muster oder aber man findet es schrecklich. Ich persönlich liebe es und habe krampfhaft das Web nach einem derartigen Strickstoff dursucht, der farblich zu mir als Herbst-Typ passt und einigermaßen erschwinglich ist. Nun bin ich fündig geworden und nenne 2m von diesem Stoff mein Eigen. Vom Stoff bin ich positiv überrascht. Obwohl er zu 100% aus künstlichen Fasern besteht, fühlt er sich sehr angenehm an. Daraus soll eine Strickjacke werden. Und wenn dann noch was übrig ist, ein Schal oder ein passendes Top.

And last but not least, i've treated myself with this knit fabric from Komolka. It seems that there is only love and hate for this fabric style - either you love or you hate it. I personally love it and was stalking the Web to find a fabric like this which will work for me colorwise as an Autumn person and is within my price range. Now i'm the proud owner of 2m of this fabric. I was positively surprised. Even though the fabric is 100% synthetic fibers it feels quite nice. I want to sew a cardigan from this fabric. And if i will have some leftovers, maybe a matching top or scarf.
