So, inzwischen gibt es auch endlich mal wieder was Neues von der Nähfront. Die Jacke nach McCall 5336 ist soweit fertig und wartet nur noch auf den finalen Feinschliff. Sie ist gefüttert und gesäumt - fehlen nur noch die Knöpfe. Leider sind die Ärmel meines Erachtens ein wenig zu kurz geworden und nun überlege ich, ob ich einfach 3/4 Ärmel daraus mache. Vielleicht gibt das dem Blazer ja einen moderneren Touch....so über einem Pullover getragen.....hmmmh...schaun mer mal. Von dem Stoff habe ich noch ein wenig übrig und wahrscheinlich reicht es so gerade eben noch für eine Weste.....Die finale Schnittmusterbesprechung gibt es dann, wenn das gesamte Ensemble fertig ist....
So here are some sewing news. The jacket McCall 5336 is nearly finished. It is lined and seamed - only the buttons are missing. Unfortenately the sleeves turned out to be a bit short. Now i'm thinking about shortening them and make 3/4 sleeves instead. Maybe it makes this jacket more fashionable and less classy....worn over a turtleneck or so.....hhmmmmhh...we will see. I still have a small leftover piece from this fabric and maybe it's enough to make a vest out of it. The final patternreview will follow if the whole combo is finished......
